Where has the time gone?
It’s been a busy summer with church, family, vacations, craft shows, and so much more. Time seems to speed by so quickly any more. I don’t remember that happening as a child … how about you? All I can think – is it fall already?
One of my favorite childhood memories was laying out in the yard under the Wild Cherry tree on a blanket gazing up at the sky and visualizing the different shapes of the clouds. A lion…, a sheep…, a dog or cat. After a while, my intent gazing would give in to a lazy afternoon nap in the shade of that big ole tree. Ummm, what precious, sweet memories.
As summer gave way to autumn, thoughts of ‘back to school’ filled my mind with all the structure of waking to the alarm clock, making it to school on time (with all my homework), math class, history class, english, and science!
Times have changed.
These days as I’m settling back into the structure of my fall routine my thoughts are racing toward new fashion and jewelry trends, colors, designs and so much more. As I search for new and interesting materials and techniques, I’m anxious to get started on my 2015 Fall and Christmas line. Be sure to watch for photo posts as new items are introduced. I’m excited and I think you will be too.
I’d love to host an open gallery in my home sometime before Christmas. Please let me know if that’s something you’d like to be part of.
What’s the old saying?
‘If you’re not moving forward, you’re backing up’. Well, I’m not about to ‘back up’ so I chose to move forward after discovering that having my studio in my home was a better fit for me at this time than being in a retail setting. My studio and gallery are back at home for now and you are welcome to come visit me any time.
Contact me to set up a convenient time and I’ll put on the coffee!
